1. THE CHRISTIAN PRAYER FOR PEACE
“All things whatsoever you desire that men should do to you, do you evenso unto  them” Christianity  Matt. 7:12

Love your enemies pray for those who abuse you.            
Do good to those who hate you bless the ones who curse you
To those who strike you on the cheek offer the other too
Give to each and everyone who begging from you
 Those who take away your goods do not ask them again.
those who take away your cloak don’t withhold your coat as well
Blessed are the peacemakers they shall be known as the Children of God
 

2. THE JEWISH PRAYER FOR PEACE
“What is hurtful to yourself do not to your fellow man.”/ Talmud, Shabbat 31a

Come let us go up to the mountain of the Lord
and we may walk the path of the Most High
We shall beat our swords into ploughshares
and our spears into pruning hooks.
Come let us go up to the mountain of the Lord
Nation shall not lift up sword against nation
Neither shall they learn war any more.
The mouth of the Lord of Hosts has spoken
So no one shall be afraid no more

3. THE ZOROASTRIAN PRAYER FOR PEACE
“That nature alone is good which refrains from doing unto another whatsoever is not good for itself.”  / Zoroastrian ,  Zend Avesta, Dadistan-i-dinik 94:5

We pray to God to eradicate the misery in our world
We pray for love to dissolve hate and diminish our hurt
Let understanding triumph over ignorance
Trust triumph over contempt
Let  generosity triumph over indifference
Truth triumph over falsehood.
Ahura Mazda  
  

 4. THE MUSLIM PRAYER FOR PEACE  
Not one of you is a believer unless he desires for his brother that which he desires for himself” /Islam, Forty Hadith of an-Nawawi 13

In the name of Allah, the beneficent, the merciful, praise be the Lord
of the Universe who has created us and  made us into tribes and nations
Not that we may despise each other cause we are the servants of God
If the enemy incline towards peace, thou shall also incline towards peace
Trust in God, for the Lord is the one that heareth and knoweth everything
Most Gracious are those who walk the Earth in humility
we greet them with peace, In shallah - In shallah


5. THE BAHAI' PRAYER FOR PEACE
"He should not wish for others that which he do not wish for himself" /
Baha'i Faith , Gleanings from the Writings of  Baha'u'llah, p. 266

Be a lamp to all of those who is walking in darkness
Be a home unto the one who is a stranger.
Be a breath of life to the body of humankind
Be a dew to the soil of the human heart 
Be a fruit upon the tree of humility
Be the eyes to all of those who cannot see
Be a guiding light unto the feet of the erring
Be generous  and thankful


6. THE NATIVE AFRICAN PRAYER FOR PEACE

Almighty One, the Great Thumb we can´t evade to tie any knot
the Roaring Thunder, that splits a mighty tree, the allseeing one all around
who even sees the footprints of an antelope on a rockmass here on Earth 
You are the one – You don’t hesitate to respond to our call


7. THE HINDU PRAYER FOR PEACE  
“Do not unto others that which would cause pain if done to you“ / 
Mahabharata 5:1517                       

Oh  lord, lead us from the unreal to the real.
lead us from darkness to light.
Oh  lord, lead us from the unreal to the real.
lead us from dying to Life
Shanti, Shanti, Shanti, unto all
Om, Asatoma sad gamaya 
Tamasoma jyotir gamaya
Mrtyorma amritam gamaya
 

8. THE SIKH PRAYER FOR PEACE
“The truly enlightened ones are those who neither incite fear in others nor fear anyone themselves.” / p.1427, Slok, Guru Granth Sahib, tr. Patwant Singh
 
God sees us according to our deeds              
not the coat that we wear,  this truth is everything
but higher still is truthful living.
Always know that we attain God when we love
 That victory endures in consequence of 
which no one can be defeated
 Sat Siri, Siri Akaal, Mahaa Akaal, Sat Naam  


9.  THE JAINIST PRAYER FOR PEACE
“A man should wander about treating all creatures as he himself would be treated“ /  Sutrakritanga 1.11.33

Peace and Universal Love is the essence of the Gospel
Unto all have I amity, and unto none have I enmity, I seek peace              
Know that violence is the root cause of all the evil                
Every act of violence is in fact the knot of bondage
Any weapon howsoever powerful it may be
It can always be replaced by a superior one
 

10.   THE BUDDHIST PRAYER FOR PEACE
“Hurt not others in ways you find hurtful.“ / Tripitaka, Udnana-varga 5.18

Om mane peme hung, om mane peme hung
Om mane Peme hung, may we all attain Buddhahood
May all beings everywhere plagued with sufferings of body and mind
quickly be freed from their illnesses. May those frightened cease to be afraid
 May those bound be free. May the powerless find power
May people think of befriending one another.
May all those who find themselves in trackless, fearful wildernes
the children, the aged, the unprotected - be guarded by beneficent celestials


11. THE NATIVE AMERICAN PRAYER FOR PEACE
“All things are our relatives; what we do to everything, we do to ourselves. All is really One” / Native American, Black Elk

Oh, Great Spirit of our Ancestors, I raise my pipe to you.   
To your messengers of the four winds, I raise my pipe to you. 
Thanks to our mother earth who provides for your children
Give us your wisdom and help us to respect and love one another
Help us to be kind, grow with peace in mind

 
12. THE SHINTO PRAYER FOR PEACE
"The heart of the person before you is a mirror. See there your own form"/  Shintoism, Ko-ji-ki Hachiman Kasuga

Although the people living across the ocean
surrounding us, I  believe, are sisters and brothers
 Why are there constant troubles in our world?
Why do winds and waves arise in the ocean around us?
I earnestly wish the wind, will puff away the clouds
that are hanging on the top of the mountains.
There is a time for peace , that is approaching us
the sun will rise again, on the top of the mountains
